We originally created the MoDAL Game with Thom Leggett from HP for a workshop at the Service Design Network Conference in Cardiff. It’s a relatively simple game, designed to bring together Service Design and Agile approaches in such a way that the core relationships in a project can be better understood.
The game relies heavily on self-organising and retrospectives in its pursuit of service prototypes, with minimum planning and research upfront as a deliberate feature. The game takes a minimum of 2 hours to play. If you’re interested you can download it for free.
This version of the game is modified from the original and we’ll be developing it further once we have some feedback. Let us know what you think.
